Setting up with Tikstream

Get in touch

First things first - reach out to us for a demo! In under 30 minutes, we can explain the platform to you and demonstrate it from start to finish. If you want to move ahead at some point after this, we'll send you a Service Agreement to review.

Add your event

Once you're ready to get set-up, we'll send you a simple form to fill in with your event's details. Nothing difficult here - just all the things you should know: Event name, a description, dates, times, prices and assets. Within an hour of receiving this, we can have your event set up and ready to sell.

Promote your event

We'll provide you with a link to your new sales page. Promote it in any way you like - on your site, on your socials, and to your email database!

Get ready for go-live!

Get your video content and/or live-stream partner ready (we can assist with both of these things), and we'll work with you to have everything ready for your audience to experience your show!

Customer process

Visit event page

Your sales link will take your audience to a simple, focused sales screen. The screen presents minimal information and focuses on conversion. We will display either a fixed price or a price slider if you're using our 'pay what you can' option. Once they set their price and hit 'Book', we simply collect their name and email address, and give them the option to sign up for updates from your organisation.

Purchase a ticket

From here, we take them to a simple and secure one-page checkout screen, powered by Stripe. All major credit cards, ApplePay and GooglePay are all supported, and it's fully mobile responsive.

Receive ticket email

Upon a successful transaction, we sent the ticket-buyer an email with simple instructions on how to access the show. If they purchase their ticket before the show is available to watch, we'll also send a reminder email on the day your show goes live.

Watch the show!

From the email, the ticket-holder is taken to a simple screen to enter their email and unique Access Code to unlock the show on their device. From this screen, all browser-capable casting options are available.


Technically, there is no cost to using Tikstream. We don't charge set-up fees and only take our payment from sales you make on our platform, so you'll never end up behind. There's a little more information on this on our Pricing page.

Once you provide us with the information we need (such as your event's name, description, dates, times, prices and assets) we can have you set up and selling within an hour. Once you've been onboarded, we can also empower you to easily set your own events up.

Once you know you want to move ahead with Tikstream, you simply need to return our signed Service Agreement, and fill in our data collection form with your event's name, description, dates, times, prices, assets. You'll also need a plan for how your video content will be produced and/or live-streamed. We can talk you through this.

Yes we do, though this needs to be agreed in advance. We'd be happy to talk through how we can support your organisation's need to distribute free ticketed events.

Yes, our platform enables administrators from your organisation to create and send out complimentary tickets. We can demonstrate this feature to you on our initial demo call.

Your share of ticket sales is released to you on a daily basis. Using Stripe Connect, the revenue split will be calculated at the point of purchase, and once bank account details are fully verified, you will begin to see daily transfers paid into your account.
